When I first got into blogging, it was for monetary reasons.

I was this broke high school kid (still am) who wanted to escape the path of going to school and getting a job. I also didn’t want to talk to anyone and try to sell people things.

So I turned online.

If you have read my origin story, you’ll know that I started trying to make money online by searching up ways to make money online and taking surveys.

But it was after a few years and a few failures with e-commerce when I found blogging.

Again, I was searching up ways to make money online and I eventually came up across Wealthy Affiliate which taught me the basics of affiliate marketing through blogging.

Unfortunately, I haven’t made any money yet, but I started loving blogging for many different reasons.

Reason #1 — Helping Others

What I learned over my one year of blogging and doing business is that anything I’m doing should be focused on helping others.

Before when I was feeling all edgy and a little bit depressed, I totally hated the idea of helping others.

But after I got a hold of myself, I started loving the idea of helping others again.
