I quickly turning into a Mac person.

Well I’ve only had this new Macbook Air for two days, but I’m quite impressed with what Apple has done.

I wasn’t a big Apple fan before. During my time researching computer products, a lot of people talked about how Apple was way too overpriced for the stuff you’re getting.

And it was.

A couple of years ago, I could build a PC or buy a Windows gaming laptop for the same price as a Macbook Pro and be better in almost every way in terms of performance.

Apple’s superior build quality didn’t really matter to me either as if…

The difference between each mastery level.

Once again, my brain is dead. I don’t have much to talk about at all and have been wasting time watching random videos on YouTube.

But it’s 11:03 PM here as I write this post. I’m committed to publishing something on Medium every day.

I’m someone that drinks his own Kool-Aid. Whenever I give out a piece of advice, I’m usually someone that already follows the advice or intends to at least try it out.

A couple of days ago, I wrote a post about how I had to reset my mindset on Medium to continue posting something every day…

I got a new laptop plus a new job.

I finally reached the end of my initial training week for becoming a project sales manager for Concierge Auctions.

It was a long week but a ton of fun. I got to meet so many different people and learn a lot about sales and real estate.

After we concluded today, the HR manager told us to wait until the beginning of next week for further details.

Within a few hours of our meeting ending, one of our foremost project sales manager leaders texted me asking about my timeline. …

Debunking Quora comments about rich people.

I was reading some stories about wealthy people on Quora this morning and had a good laugh.

People were heatedly debating whether someone was fake rich or real rich and how today's rich people are different from the past.

Some people talked about how those who showed off their Lamborghinis and GUCCI clothes were all fake rich, while real rich people drive pick-up trucks.

Other people talked about how the rich people today were show-offs while older rich people were more modest.

As I enter the high net-worth real estate market and get the opportunity to meet tons of different…

Your rewards very rarely show up when you work.

It looks like I’m all but confirmed to get a new job auctioning multi-million dollar properties. It’s a contractor job which means I’ll be waiting for assignments, but it seems like I might be getting two within the next few months.

Of course, even if I do get the job and the assignment, the real work starts when I’m actually trying to get bidders to the auction. But man, I’m already thinking about the potential earnings and where I’m headed.

If I succeed in the next two auctions I may get, I will likely earn between $30,000 to $100,000 depending…

People don’t want to work with you if they feel bad afterward.

Photo by engin akyurt on Unsplash

I am supposed to have an eye appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM, but I can’t make it due to the training I’m taking for a new job position.

There’s a $100 fee for not canceling the appointment within 24 hours. And that’s total bullshit as it’s literally impossible to get ahold of the eye center.

Yes, they told me about my appointment a week in advance. I was okay until the company I have a job opportunity at told me the training schedule on the weekend.

I was training from 8 AM to past 5:00 PM every day for…

Proving my work ethic and getting things done.

My head hurts a lot. All I want to do is go to sleep.

I had a long day today. For this entire week, I am taking training from Concierge Auctions for the potential to get started auctioning multi-million dollar residential properties.

But man, the training was long. It started early in the morning at 8:00 AM and went all the way until 5:00 PM. There was a one-hour lunch break and another 15-minute break in the afternoon, but man was that one long sitting.

I’ve never had to sit down and learn for such a long time, not even…

And the million things I have to do.

Okay, I don’t actually have a million different things that I have to do, but I have a lot.

I confirmed with my photographer this morning that I can start using the photos and changed a large portion of my images for my social media profiles.

If you’ve been reading my blog posts since before today, you might have noticed my Medium profile picture change. I’ve been changing my images for a lot of different profiles.

But I’m still not done. I still have to edit my Twitter and WeChat profiles and maybe create a few new profiles for various…

Technically, I didn’t, but there’s a lesson learned.

I slept super late last night compared to my usual sleeping times. I was up gaming with my friends and then finishing a Medium article right after.

So yeah, I ended up publishing the article past midnight today, which means I didn’t post anything yesterday.

The saving grace is that I did finish before I went to sleep, so in my head, that counts as yesterday’s work.

A problem I’ve been encountering a little bit recently is procrastinating and getting distracted while writing.

Instead of getting things done in one focused sitting, I wrote bits and pieces while doing other…

Certain people provide more opportunities than others.

Photo by Ruthson Zimmerman on Unsplash

I’m super grateful to my real estate mentor. Meeting him has opened my opportunities everywhere.

I’ll have the chance to work on an $85 million apartment building, and it’s looking like I have a high probability of becoming a project sales manager with Concierge Auctions and do multi-million dollar luxury residential property auctions.

Just having my mentor help me out with the deals I find as a real estate agent is a significant benefit on its own.

It’s crazy how one person managed to open up so many opportunities for me.

But while I’m sitting back, appreciating the things he…
