Don’t Tell Others What You Can Do, Show Them
How to get people on board with what you are doing.
Every time I talk about business with my parents, it usually ends badly.
In almost every case, I talk about how I will be able to make a full-time income from affiliate marketing and they would scoff and say, “You’re just dreaming.”
I would explain the numbers and how I was already on the road to a full-time income, but they would never believe me.
I mean, they have their right to be skeptical.
I have said that I will become rich multiple times in the past when they bought new things like computers and software for me but I never executed those plans.
But I just wish, I would get words of encouragement because it’s quite difficult to believe in yourself when no one around you believes in you.
All my parents can see is the situation I’m in and not the situation I could be in.
I’m earning cents every day which can’t buy anything in today’s world. They think that I’ll permanently earn cents every day from blogging.
My parents don’t see that if I can earn cents from blogging, I can also earn dollars.
I’ve been telling my parents all about how my blog can easily grow.
