How To Streamline Your Work And Productivity
Use templates to speed up asset creation and limit redundant activities.
Yesterday, I finally published my Vert Shock video on YouTube.
It took me quite a while to make the video. It was exhausting. I even gave up on almost two days of writing blog posts on Medium.
Instead of taking only 2 days as I had anticipated, it took me 5 days.
Over time, I will get better at video editing and it will take significantly less time.
But with a positive mind, I am grateful that it didn’t take me 10 days instead of 5.
I absolutely could have taken 10 days to make one video, but I became a lot more efficient when making my first Vert Shock video compared to when I was making my Kento Momota Badminton Montage.
This was all because of the use of templates.
In my Vert Shock video, I wanted to add a bunch of text overlays and transitions because for the first time in my life, I was talking instead of just playing music in the background.
Since I knew I wasn’t particularly articulate or a good speaker, I wanted to help my audience out by adding text so the viewer knows what I’m talking about.
