If You Fight For Your Limitations, You Get To Keep Them
And forever get nothing done.
Just yesterday, I watched a masterclass from MindValley with Jim Kwik and Vishen Lakhiani.
It was about unlocking your superbrain and improving your ability to learn from 2, 3, or even 4 times as much.
The masterclass talked a lot about protecting your brain and giving it the right nutrients and gave actionable strategies such as morning routines and a process to memorize things that really work.
But what I found most impactful wasn’t all the superbrain foods or emotional learning concepts, it was something that Jim Kwik said.
“If you fight for your limitations, you get to keep them.” — Jim Kwik
Those words made something click. They made me go back in time and look at some of my conversations and see that the world wasn’t really how it is.
Whenever my parents say something about me quitting school and becoming a failure, I would always say that I’ll become a millionaire.
I’ll become a millionaire in 1 year, just you wait.
They would always shake their heads and say, “If making money was so easy, then everybody would do it.”
