Making everything a learning experience is the secret to maximizing self-growth and knowledge gains.
A few days ago I talked about how I was killing my ego and becoming more coachable. Today’s post will kind of be like that post as I talk a little about making everything a learning experience to become the best you.
It all started when I was in my phase of self-reflection a few weeks ago back.
I was thinking about how I used to be so smart and why I was so down now.
I was considered a fast learner for just about everything I did. In fact, that was one of my biggest highlights.
I remember when I went skiing for the first time. I literally never touched skis before, but within one day, I was able to ski down the tallest hill at Calgary’s Olympic Park.
Granted it was nothing like the super steep hills in places such as Norquay, but learning how to ski within a few hours certainly is a feat that others around me considered impressive.
Then about a few weeks later, another one of my friends invited me to go skiing. This time it to Nakiska which had much larger and steeper hills.
