Thanks for commenting, Janet! I wrote this article mainly as a reflection of my actions and not so much as a review. Yes, the free course was a little disappointing mainly because I have taken so many make money online courses that had a free webinar/class and this one had nothing new that I didn't already know.

I was interested in the course because of the sales page and from other people saying that they were making money on Medium after taking Tom's course. It was too expensive for me at first, but after finding the discount from the free course, I decided to commit. Even though the free course didn't impress me, I trusted that there was more content within the course that will help me. This trust stems from the sales page and other people which were my first impressions of Tom's course. As such, the free course really didn't matter to me much.

It was written back in March 2021 but nearly all of it still holds true. The one thing that does need to be updated is my earnings are much higher now than before.

I did make back all my money and the course helped me do that. Learning what makes a good headline, getting ideas for how to write more captivating articles, and most importantly, getting feedback on my articles from the group, have helped me a ton. I instantly made more money after starting Tom's course.

Here's the catch, though. I didn't make back the full investment into the course until 4 months ago... more than 2 years after I did Tom's course.

But I would still say Tom's course is worth it. With each passing month as my Medium income increases, the money I invested into the course is looking more and more like a small blip. Tom provides some of the best content on how to make money on Medium. Just don't expect to make life-changing income right away.

Tom's course is worth it only if you're ready to stick with writing on Medium and face all obstacles coming your way.
