This is a fantastic article, and admittedly, I have the same problem with doom scrolling as much as I try to avoid it. Perhaps it's worth testing shorter form content as writers on Medium? I know Short. Sweet. Valuable. is a publication that's doing pretty well off of <300 word articles.
