Whether or not you believe in karma, the way you treat others will be the way others treat you.

The statement is not perfect, but generally, the better you are to everyone, the better everyone will be to you.

While the worse you are to other people, the worse other people will be to you.

This was something that I learned in elementary school but gradually forgot as I grew up.

Now, I suddenly remember its importance and realize that I should always be trying to bring out the best in other people because that’s what I want other people to do for me.

In elementary school, I was always respected by most people. I think that was because I treated everyone else with great respect as well.

I remember when people would say, “Why would anyone want to hurt Kevin? He’s such a great person.”

Those were the good times when I enjoyed being around people. I would help others out in their times of need and they would help me.

Everybody was nice to me because I was nice to everyone else.

Something changed when I reached high school. I stopped being so good to everyone and began ignoring others.
