Why I Always Resented Universities

Our family tradition, my failure in school, and what I think of post-secondary now.

Admittedly, I missed writing a blog post yesterday and have fallen behind one day on all the tasks that I had planned from my 2020 New Year’s Resolution.

I’m supposed to be writing this blog post, apply to post-secondary, and do my Social Studies homework yesterday.

However, instead of doing that, I was writing an essay that I was supposed to finish two days ago.

That essay really boggled my mind. It was a critical analytical essay on a novel that I forgot to read.

But I never expected it to take up almost 8 hours to complete. And in these next few days, I’m going to have to write an essay every day for Social Studies which worries me quite a bit.

These Social Studies essays are similar to the critical analytical essay that I took so long to write. It’s all about finding the right facts to support a strong argument. I always have trouble with these assignments.

Plus, I still have to go through all the content and do the quizzes and tests that are there and my part-time work starts tomorrow again.

But I need to get this done. If I focus, plan things out, and put some concentrated effort into these assignments, I will be okay.
