And the constant pressure you face when you do.

This is something else that has been told to me many times, but I only realize now.

I should never compare myself to other people.

I used to say things like if this 13-year-old could make an e-commerce store and make hundreds of thousands of dollars within a few months, then I could do it too.

Or things like, if this middle school kid wrote a blog that made him millions per year by teaching other people how to make money online, then I could definitely do better.

But I never did. And I did the worst thing possible.

My self-esteem crashed and I slammed myself saying that I sucked and was worse than everyone in the world when I couldn’t reproduce other people’s results.

Because I couldn’t achieve the big goals I had set, those words became beliefs and I talked about limiting beliefs a lot.

What happens when you fight for your limitations? You get to keep them.

So I kept bashing myself about how dumb I was and how I couldn’t get stuff done. Eventually, that’s who I became.

The guy who couldn’t get anything done.
